1. Start with the agreement
A dispute is assessed against the accepted asset description, delivery obligations and inspection criteria. Keep an accurate record of the authorised handover and any issue. Tell the other party promptly in the transaction workspace; shared messages preserve the conversation.
2. Open a dispute
Either party can raise a dispute once funding is confirmed and before settlement is recorded. State the specific issue, expected outcome and relevant evidence references. An open dispute pauses release or refund settlement. Opening a dispute after external payout cannot automatically reverse a blockchain transfer; contact support for any post-settlement concern.
Do not wait for an inspection deadline if access is missing, ownership is unclear or the asset materially differs from the agreement. The current application does not automatically release at inspection expiry. Do not abuse this safeguard to delay a valid handover.
3. Evidence and review
Both parties should provide dated transfer records, safe screenshots, provider correspondence and evidence of the agreed acceptance checks. Do not send credentials, private keys or unnecessary personal data. Our team may request further information or an independent provider confirmation.
We aim to handle review promptly but no fixed resolution time is guaranteed. Complex ownership questions, platform responses, identity checks and legal obligations may extend the review. An administrator records the reasoned decision and whether the transaction proceeds to a seller-release or buyer-refund request.
4. Cancellations and refunds
An agreement can be cancelled before funding instructions are issued. Once checkout instructions have been created, “Back to merchant” does not cancel them and late deposits may still arrive. Contact support for reconciliation rather than sending another payment.
Refunds depend on the transaction state, documented facts, provider capabilities and applicable law. Confirm a lawful recipient wallet and exact network through the settlement process. Any fee deductions must have a contractual basis and be disclosed; do not assume all provider or blockchain charges are recoverable. No automatic refund endpoint is available through the documented HuskyPay public API.
5. Settlement and further concerns
Buyer approval creates a release request. A review decision creates a release or refund request. Completion is recorded after an administrator documents the actual external transfer reference, network and recipient. Irreversible crypto transfers make recipient checks essential.
If you disagree with a decision, use the complaints procedure and identify any new evidence. This process does not remove rights or remedies available under applicable law.
